A Brief History of the Recorder's Courts of New Orleans: 1948

1948

Act 531 creates the Municipal Court of New Orleans, with jurisdiction over the trial of offenses against the Ordinances of the City of New Orleans. The act also abolished the Recorders' Courts of the City of New Orleans.
