ACT No. 10 House Bill No. 77. By Mr. Burke. AN ACT. To levy an annual franchise tax on all corporations for the privilege of carrying on, doing business, the exercising of their charters, or the continuance of their charters, within this State; to provide for reports to the Secretary of State by said corporations, and providing for the determination and summary collection of said tax; providing for the exemption of certain corporations; providing for the seizure and sale of property of delinquent tax debtors hereunder; providing funds for the enforcement of this Act; providing penalties for failure to comply with the provisions of this Act, providing for a lien and privilege on the property of delinquents, and providing for the disposition of said tax when collected.

ACT No. 14. AN ACT. Making it a misdemeanor for any person, firm or corporation to maintain in their stores, restaurants, or other public places, any games of skill such as pin games or other mechanical games, without exhibiting thereon the State and Charity Hospital licenses required by the laws of Louisiana, and providing a penalty for the violation of this Act.
