By 1932, Benjamin Wall Dart's General Statutes of the State of Louisiana was listing Admission to Practice as Chapter One in the "Attorneys" section. The Legislature's Act 202 of that year had expanded the requirements and definition of the practice of law.
In the same volume, Dart published the Rules of the Supreme Court of Louisiana, which went into great detail on its requirements and examination. Those examinations could be oral or written, or both.
