AN ACT To abolish the Parish of Feliciana, and to create and establish two Parishes in lieu thereof.

Sect. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Parish Representatives of the state of Louisiana in general assembly convened; That the territory heretofore known by the name of the parish of Feliciana, shall cease to form said Parish and shall be created into two distinct and separate parishes, the one to be called the parish of East Feliciana and the other the parish of West Feliciana, and each parish shall form a part of the county of Feliciana, and a part of the Third Judicial District.
