AN ACT to divide the parish of St. Helena.

SEC. 10. Be it further enacted, &c. That the terms of the parish Courts shall be held at the respective seats of justice of the said parishes, agreeably to the laws and ordinances of the state and that the term of the District Court shall be held on the fourth Mondays in April and October, in the parish of Livingston, and on the first Mondays in May and November, in the parish of St. Helena, in each year.

AN ACT to form a new parish to be called the Parish of Carroll.

SEC. 7. Be it further enacted, &c. That the parish of Carroll shall form a part of the fourth judicial district, and the district courts shall be held on the second Monday in June and on the second Monday in December, at the house of Herbert Hood at the Lake Providence landing, or the nearest convenient house thereto, until the police jury shall have otherwise provided.

AN ACT to recognise the fourth, sixth, and seventh district courts, and to fix the time of holding the same.
 SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Louisiana, in General assembly convened, That the parish of Claiborne shall be, and the same is hereby attached to and made a part of the seventh judicial district, and it shall be the duty of the
judge holding courts in said district, to hold the district courts of said parish.
SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, &c. That the parishes of Concordia and Carroll shall make a part of the eastern division of the circuit, and the same is hereby attached to and made a part of the fourth judicial district; and it shall be the duty of the judge holding courts in said district, to hold the district courts of said parishes.
