AN ACT Relative to District Courts.

SEC. 5. Be it further enacted, &c., That the State shall be divided into eighteen Judicial Districts, viz:
First-The city and parish of New Orleans shall compose and be called the First District.
Second-The parishes of St. Bernard and Plaquemines, shall compose and be called the Second District.
Third-The parishes of Jefferson and St. Charles, shall compose and be called the Third District.
Fourth -The parishes of St John the 13aptist, St. James and Assension, shall compose and be called the Fourth District.
Fifth-The parishes of Assumption, Lafourche and Terrebonne, shall compose and be called the Fifth District.
Sixth-The parishes of East and West Baton Rouge, and Iberville, shall compose and be called the Sixth District.
Seventh-The parishes of East and West Feliciana, shall compose and be called the Seventh District.
Eighth-The parishes of St. Tammany, Washington, St. Helena and Livingston, shall compose and be called the Eighth District.
Ninth-The parishes of Point Coupde and Concordia, shall compose and be called the Ninth District.
Tenth-The parishes of Tensas, Madison and Carroll, shall compose and be called the Tenth District.
Eleventh-The parishes of Cataboula, Franklin and Caldwell shall compose and be called the Eleventh District.
Twelfth-The parishes of Ouachita, Union, Morehouse and Jackson, shall compose and he called the Twelfth District.
Thirteenth-The parishes of Rapides and Avoyelles, shall compose and be called the Thirteenth District.
Fourteenth-The parishes of St. Mary, St. Martin and Vermillion, shall compose and be called the Fourteenth District.
Fifteenth-The parishes of Lafayette, St. Landry and Calcasieu, shall compose and be called the Fifteenth District.
Sixteenth-The parishes of Natchitoches, Sabine and Winn, shall compose and be called the Sixteenth District.
Seventeenth-The parishes of Bossier, Claiborne and Bienville, shall compose and be called the Seventeeth District.
Eighteenth-The parishes of Caddo and De Soto, shall compose and be called the Eighteenth District.
