AN ACT
Creating the Parish of Lincoln, and providing for the Organization thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Louisiana in General Assembly convened, That a new parish in the State of Louisiana be and the same is hereby created out of the northern portion of the parish of Jackson, a portion of the eastern parts of the parishes of Bienville and Claiborne, and a portion of the southwestern part of Union parish, to be called and known by the name of the parish of Lincoln.
