AN ACT
To establish and organize the Parish of Beauregard, to fix its boundaries, and to provide for temporary government and administration thereof, in accordance with Article 277 of the Constitution of this State. And to provide for the submission to the voters of the Parish of Catahoula at an election to be held on the third (3) Tuesday in January 1908 of the question. "'Whether or not the said Parish of Beauregard shall be established and organized" and to provide for the holding and conduct of said election, and to give effect to the same.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Louisiana, That a new parish, in the State of Louisiana, be and the same is hereby created out of the western portion of the Parish of Catahoula, to be called and known as the Parish of Beauregard, . . .
