To amend the act entitled "An act to incorporate the city of New Orleans," and the act entitled "An act to determine the mode of election of the mayor, recorder and other public officers necessary for the administration and police of the city of New Orleans and for other purposes. [sic]

AN ACT
To establish in and for the city of New Orleans, its suburbs incorporated and other places, Justices of the Peace in and for each and every section thereof, and to create a court to decide on the appeals from their judgments and for other purposes.
