AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 38:281(9), 291(K)(1), 330.12(A), and 336(A) and to enact R.S. 38:281(10), relative to the Orleans Levee District; to clarify and provide for the ownership and management of certain property of the district; to provide for an effective date; and to provide for related matters.
AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 38:291(K) and (R), 330.1(B)(introductory paragraph),(1)(a)(iii), and (2)(a)(ii) and (C)(1)(introductory paragraph) and (b) and (L), 330.2(A)(1), 330.3(B)(1) and (C)(1), 330.8, 330.10(A) and 331(B)(1)(l) and (m), to enact R.S. 38:291(X) and (Y) and 331(B)(1)(n), and to repeal R.S. 38:330.1(F)(5), relative to the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-West Bank; to provide for management of the affairs of the authority; to provide relative to residency requirements for members of the authority; to provide relative to involvement of certain members in decisions of the board; to provide relative to compensation of members; to provide for the reorganization of the West Jefferson Levee District into two levee districts and to provide for governance and operations of the Lafitte Area Independent Levee District; to provide for the reorganization of the Orleans Levee District into two levee districts and to provide for governance and operations of the Algiers Levee District; and to provide for related matters.
