Introduction to Free Online Legal Resources

Using the Internet for legal resources is both a blessing and a curse. It is not an exaggeration to say that the Internet has revolutionized our access to information. But with that revolution has come access to a lot of misinformation. Legal resources are especially plagued by bad information. It's easy for the unwary to fall prey to websites claiming to offer free legal advice. Fortunately, there are many free authoritative legal resource websites available to help counteract all the bad information. This guide will help you find websites on a variety of legal topics. And though we think these websites are trustworthy, use your own judgment and always evaluate the website yourself.
