Act 230: AN ACT
To amend and reenact R.S. 13:1595.1, relative to the term of office for the judge for Orleans Parish Juvenile Court, Section E; to provide for the term of office; to provide that the judge of Section E shall be elected at the congressional election held in the last year of his term; and to provide for related matters. Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published as provided by Article III, Section 13 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
Act 289: AN ACT
To enact R.S. 13:1580(E), relative to the assigning of children to state agencies for care and treatment, to prohibit the dividing of legal and physical custody of a child assigned to the Department of Health and Human Resources or Department of Public Safety and Corrections, to provide terms and conditions, and to provide for related matters.
Act 524: AN ACT
To amend and reenact R.S. 13:1596(F) and 1599, relative to the Juvenile Court for the parish of Jefferson, to provide that the judges of that court may appoint hearing officers to preside over support and support related hearings and make recommendations, to provide for the duties and authority of the hearing officers, to provide for concurrent jurisdiction with the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District Court, to remove the time limit for such authority provided by Act No. 254 of the 1985 Regular Session, and to provide for related matters. Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published as provided by Article III, Section 13 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
