ACT NO. 104. AN ACT
To provide for the appointment duties and compensation of Deputy Clerks and Stenographers in the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans. and for taxation of their transcription fees as costs; and to repeal all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith or on the same subject. Notice of intention to apply for the passage of this act having been published in the Parish of Orleans thirty days prior to the introduction thereof in the General Assembly in the manner provided by law for -the advertisements of judicial sales, and evidence of such notice having been exhibited in the General Assembly before the passage thereof.

To declare who shall be competent witnesses in civil and criminal cases.
