AN ACT Creating the Parish of Lincoln, and providing for the Organization thereof.

1877 Act No. 29

AN ACT To annex certain territory of Lincoln parish to the parish of Jackson, with proviso; to provide for the redivision of Jackson parish into police jury wards; to dispose of certain suits pending in the courts of Lincoln parish, and to permit certain persons to select the parish of their domicile.

1904 ACT NO. 97.

AN ACT To change the parish line between Jackson and Lincoln parishes by taking territory from Jackson Parish and annexing it to Lincoln Parish; to provide for holding a special election on said proposition, and to promulgate the result thereof-also to provide for the apportionment by the police jury of Lincoln Parish of said annexed territory between the existing wards in Lincoln Parish, and for the transfer of pending suits where defendant resides in the annexed territory.
