Act No. 47. AN ACT To incorporate the city of Monroe, in the parish of Ouachita, define its boundaries, to provide for the administration of the affairs thereof, to exempt all property, real and personal, and all persons, firms and corporations within the corporate limits from the payment of parish taxes and licenses, and to prescribe the proportion of certain parochial expenses to be paid by the said city; and to repeal all acts inconsistent or in conflict there with.
