1983 Act No. 454
To amend and reenact R.S. 37:831, R.S. 37:833, R.S. 37:845(1), (2), (3),and (5), R.S. 37:847, R.S. 37:850, and R.S. 37:861(C), to enact R.S. 37:845(6) and (7) and R.S. 37:848(D), all relative to embalmers and funeral directors, to provide for definitions and redefinitions of certain terms, to provide with respect to hearings, to provide with respect to the domicile of the Louisiana State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors, to provide for an increase in certain fees, to provide with respect to the practice of embalming, to provide for an increase in penalties for violations of the provisions of law governing the practice of embalming and funeral directors, and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
