AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 40:4 and to enact R.S. 40:5.2, relative to the state sanitary code, to n'rovide that the state health officer, acting through the office (/ health services and environmental quality of the Department of Health and Huma Resources, prepare, promulgate, and enforce rules embodie2 within the state sanitary code; to provide guidelines for the content of the sanitary code with respect to food-borne disease, communicable disease, interment of deceased humans, construction, operation, and maintenance of camps and campsites, lodging facilities, sewage, plumbing systems, drinking water, insect control, places where people congregate, water contact recreation, and rendering facilities in order to protect against disease; to provide with respect to enforcement; and to provide for related matters.
