AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 40:32(5), (9), (11), and (12), 33(A), (B), (C), and (D), 34(A)(1)(a)(v), (c), (h), and (k), 34(A)(2)(f), (m), and (r)(i), 36(C), (D), (E), and (F), 37, 38, 40(6) and (13), 41(B), (C)(2), (F), and (G), 42, 43, the unnumbered introductory paragraph of 45(D), 46(A), (C), (D) and (E), 47(A) and (B), 48(B), 49(A), (B)(8), (9), and (12), 50(A), 60(D) and (E), 61(A)(4), 62(A), (B) and (D), 62. 1(B), the renumbered introductory paragraph of 64, 65, 67, 68, 73(A) and (B), 77(A) and (B), and 78, and to enact R.S. 40:32(16) and (17), all relative to vital statistics, to eliminate inappropriate references, to clarify certain provisions, to provide for procedures relating to the vital records registry, to provide for certain fees, to increase allowable time periods for the filing of death or spontaneous death certificates, to provide with respect to the preparation and filing of presumptive death certificates, and to provide for related matters.

To amend and reenact R.S. 40:4(A)(3), relative to disease control, to provide for the identification of disease infected corpses, and to provide for related matters.
