Arms Regulation in 20th Century Louisiana: Home

Arms Regulation

Almost every year, the Louisiana Legislature passed laws concerning the possession, ownership, and use of firearms.

Many Louisiana statutes concern hunting, designating when, where, and how it might be done, and with what type of weapon. Many others are about who may or may not posses a weapon, and where it may be carried. Still others concern weapons which are not allowed at all.
