ACT NO. 225. AN ACT. To amend and re-enact Section Two (2) of Act No. 310 of the Legislature of Louisiana for the year 1914, entitled "An Act to incorporate the City of Lafayette, in the Parish of Lafayette, to define its boundaries, to provide for the administration of the affairs thereof, to define its powers and those of its officers, to exempt all property, real and personal, firms and corporations, within the corporate limits from the payment of certain taxes and licenses, and to repeal all acts inconsistent or in conflict therewith ;'' due notice, in accordance with Section 6 of Article IV of the Constitution, having been given for thirty days of the intention to apply for the passage of this act, and evidence thereof having been exhibited to the Legislature.

ACT NO. 247 AN ACT To incorporate the City of New Orleans; provide for the government and administration of the affairs of said City; to provide for an initiative, referendum and recall, and for the manner and mode of exercising and submitting same and providing penalties for the violations of any of the provisions of this Act in reference to same; to submit this Act to the qualified voters of the City of New Orleans for their approval or disapproval; to provide that if disapproved this Act shall be non-operative; to call a Special Election for the purpose of taking the sense of said voters; and to repeal all laws and parts of laws in conflict herewith; due notice of intention to apply for the passage of this Act having been given in accordance with Section Six of Article IV of the Constitution of Louisiana of 1921, and evidence thereof submitted to the Legislature of Louisiana: (sec. 62)
