1968

Third Circuit

 Act. No. 10 of 1968 increased the number of judges from five to six.

 

Fourth Circuit

Act. No. 696 of 1968 increased to nine the number of judges.

A JOINT RESOLUTION
Proposing the amendment of Section 20 and Section 21 of Article VII of the Constitution of Louisiana, to reorganize the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal by dividing the circuit into districts and providing two additional judges to be elected from districts and apportioning all the Judges of the Court among the districts; and to provide that all terms of office of judges of the various Courts of Appeal shall expire in odd-numbered years.

Section 2. This proposed amendment shall be submitted to the electors of the State of Louisiana at the election for Representatives in Congress to be held in Louisiana on the first Tuesday next following the first Monday of November, 1968.
