AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 17:221(A)(1), and to enact R.S. 17:221(D),(E), and (F) relative to school attendance; to extend the age of compulsory attendance; to provide for the notification of parents of excessive absences; to require written parental consent prior to withdrawing from school prior to graduation; and to provide for related matters.
