1985 ACT No. 874
AN ACT To enact R.S. 17:223.1, relative to in-school suspension pilot projects for students in public elementary and secondary schools; to provide for approval by the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education upon recommendation of the Department of Education of in-school suspension pilot projects from among proposals submitted by public school systems; to provide relative to funding for such projects for the 1985-1986 school year; to provide elements to be considered in selection; to provide minimum requirements for proposals to be considered for selection; to require the submission of reports by school systems whose proposals are selected; to provide for the return of money under certain circumstances, and to provide for related matters.
