Change was frequent

1959

In 1959, orders from the Supreme Court of Louisiana made drastic changes in the requirements for admission to the Bar. The Court again changed the Articles of Incorporation of the Louisiana State Bar Association. In a few years, one would no longer be allowed to study under a lawyer and then take the bar examinations. As of June 15, 1965, everyone would have to go to law school and then pass bar examinations.
