AN ACT To amend and reenact Sections 1931, 1995 and 1996 of Title 47 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 relative to assessors and assessment procedure in Orleans Parish to provide with respect to the powers and authority of assessors in Orleans Parish and with respect thereto; to provide with respect to the membership of the board of reviewers in Orleans Parish; to provide with respect to the inspection of assessment rolls of each assessor in Orleans Parish and also with respect to the certification of the assessment rolls of each assessor in Orleans Parish and also with respect to the certification of each assessor in Orleans parish to the board of review; and to otherwise provide with respect thereto.
AN ACT Relative to the Lake Pontchartrain Sanitary District, to extend the territory thereof to include the parishes of Tangipahoa, St. John the Baptist, and St. Tammany; to increase the governing board to fourteen members and to provide for the designation of the new members, one each by the police juries of the parishes of Tangipahoa, St. John the Baptist, and St. Tammany.
AN ACT To amend and reenact Section 4073 of Title 33 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 relative to designating officers of the sewerage and water board of New Orleans, for the purpose of changing the title of secretary to executive director.
AN ACT To amend and reenact Section 4074 of Title 33 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 relative to the meetings of the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans for the purpose of providing that meetings shall be held in accordance with rules adopted by the board and providing for changing the title of secretary to executive director.
AN ACT To amend and reenact Section 4091 of Title 33 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 relative to reports of the sewerage and water board of New Orleans for the purpose of providing that reports shall be made annually in lieu of semiannually.
AN ACT To amend and reenact Section 4071 of Title 33 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 relative to the creation and organization of the sewerage and water board of New Orleans, for the purpose of providing that members appointed to said board shall be citizens and registered voters in lieu of property taxpayers; and giving to the legislature the power to make changes in the board's authority and structure.
