1980 Act No. 627
AN ACT To amend and reenact Sections 4076 and 4096 of Title 33 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, and to repeal Section 4082 of said Title relative to the sewerage and water board of the city of New Orleans, to provide with respect to removal, suspension and retirement of employees of the board; to delete the provision giving the furnishing of free water to certain institutions, hospitals and charities in New Orleans; to provide with respect to the procedure for increasing water rates and issuing Water Revenue Bonds; to provide with respect to the investment of funds; to delete the use of surplus monies for the drainage system and the use of funds for emergencies; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
