ACT No. 271 AN ACT
Providing for the repayment by the Clerk of the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans to the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans, of all sums of money deposited in the Registry of said Court by the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans Pursuant to the orders of the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans, Division G, Paul P. Garofalo, Judge, in the litigation entitled "Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans vs. Home Builders' Realty Company, et al." bearing Docket No. 449,272, of the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans, and which have not been claimed by any of the Defendants therein, on or before the expiration of six months from the effective date of this Act; and to relieve the Clerk of the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans from all further liability therefor; providing for the payment by the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans to said Defendant, or Defendants, when they appear and establish their claim by Judgment of Court.
ACT No. 540 AN ACT
To amend and re-enact Subsection A of Section 3105 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, relative to the compensation of jurors in civil cases in the Civil District Court for the parish of Orleans, to provide for a fee of not less than ten dollars per day.
ACT No. 568 AN ACT
To amend and re-enact Subsections A, B, C and J of Section 1171 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, to create and provide with respect to a second commissioner of the civil district court for the parish of Orleans.
ACT No. 679 A JOINT RESOLUTION
Proposing an amendment to Section 89 of Article VII of the Constitution of Louisiana relative to parish officers and their election in Orleans Parish.
ACT No. 680 A JOINT RESOLUTION
Proposing an amendment to Sections 90 and 92 and Paragraphs A, C, D and E of Section 91 of Article VII of the Constitution of Louisiana to provide with respect to the city courts for the city of New Orleans, to designate them as district courts and increase the jurisdictional amount thereof and to provide with respect to the duties of the judge of the newly designated second district court.
