ACT No. 963 AN ACT
To enact R.S. 13:998, 1141, and 1414, relative to fees in certain civil matters; to require the clerks of court in the district courts of Caddo, Calcasieu, and Lafayette parishes, and in the Civil District Court of the parish of Orleans and the Family Court of East Baton Rouge Parish to assess an additional fee, in certain civil matters, for support of various nonprofit organizations providing shelter for battered women and their children; to provide for the disposition of such fee; and to provide for related matters.
Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published.
ACT No. 1132 AN ACT
To amend and reenact R.S. 25:271 and 273 and to repeal R.S. 25:272 and 274, relative to libraries; to provide for the dissolution of the Orleans Parish Law Library Commission and to transfer all authority over maintenance and funding of the Orleans Parish law library to the Judicial Expense Fund for the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans; and to provide for related matters.
Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published as provided by Article III, Section 13 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
