Making an appropriation for the general expenses of the State for the fiscal year ending the thirty-first day of March, eighteen hundred and fifty-nine.

Making an appropriation for the general expenses of the State for the fiscal year ending the thirty-first day of March, eighteen hundred and fifty-nine.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and Mouse of Representatives of the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That the following
sums be and they are hereby appropriated for the following purposes,  and for the fiscal year commencing on the first day of April, eighteen hundred and fifty-eight, and ending on the thirty-first day of March, eighteen  hundred and fifty-nine:

Appropriation for repairs to the Capitol, one thousand dollars ($1,000).

No. 257.]                           JOINT RESOLUTIONS.
1. Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That the Sergeant-at-Arms, under the supervision of the Building Committee, be and is hereby required to remove all the rubbish from the basement story of the Capitol and store the same elsewhere.
2. Resolved, That he he further required, under the supervision of the said Committee, to make all repairs that are actually necessary for the
 preservation of the public buildings.
