Making appropriations for the general expenses of the State, for the public and charitable institutions for the  year ending the thirty-first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

Appropriation for the rent of the building used as a State House, known as the Mechanics' Institute, in the city of New Orleans, from the twenty-third day of November, 1869, to the twenty-third day of November, 1870, ten thousand dollars ($10,000).
