AN ACT
To create the tenth Judicial District.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Louisiana in General Assembly convened, That the Parishes of Natchitoches, Caddo and Claiborne do form a separate and independent  Judicial District, to be styled the tenth Judicial District of the State of Louisiana.

AN ACT to create a new Parish to be called the parish of Calcasieu.

SECT. 7. Be it further enacted,&c., That the Parish of Calcasieu shall form a part of the fifth Judicial District of the State, and the District Court for said Parish shall be held at the seat of' Justice thereof on the third Mondays of June and December of every year, and it shall be the duty of the District Judge of said District to appoint a Clerk of the District Court for said Parish.
