AN ACT to establish the Eighth Judicial District of this State, and for other purposes.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That the parish of Washington, St. Tamman and St. Helena, do form and constitute a separate and independent Judicial District, to be known and called the eighth judicial district.

AN ACT to create a parish in the county of Lafourche, to be called the parish of Terre Bonne.

SECT. 4. And be it further enacted, That the court of the second district shall hold two sessions every year, in the said parish,  on the first Mondays of June and December.
