AN ACT
To create the parish of Grant, and providing For the organization thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Louisiana in General Assembly convened, That from and after the passage of this act there shall be a new parish formed from a portion of the south part of Winn parish and front a portion of the north part of Rapides parish, to be called and known by the name of the parish of Grant.

AN ACT
To create the Parish of Tangipahoa, and providing for the complete organization thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Louisiana in General Assembly convened, That a new parish in the State of Louisiana be and the same is hereby created out of the contiguous portions of the parishes of Washington, St. Tammany, St. Helena and Livingston, to be called and known as the parish of Tangipahoa.
