ACT NO. 13. AN ACT To enforce Article 170 of the Constitution of 1898 declaring that “no person shall hold or exercise, at the same time, more than one office of trust or profit, except that of justice of the peace or notary public,” and providing penalties for the violation of this act.

ACT NO. 125. AN ACT To provide for necessary legal services for Police Juries, Parish School Boards, and all State Boards and Commissions, including Levee Boards, Hospital and Asylum Boards, Educational Boards, and Dock Boards, the members of which in whole or in part, are elected by the people, or appointed by the Governor or other prescribed authority, to prohibit the employment for compensation by any of them of an attorney, general or special or payment by them of any compensation for any legal services, except as authorized by this act; and to prescribe penalties for the violation of any of the provisions of this act, and to repeal all laws, general or special, so far as they may be in conflict with the same.

ACT NO. 158. H AN ACT Making appropriations to defray the ordinary expenses of the government; to pay the interest on the public debt; and to support public schools and public charities in the State of Louisiana; to build and repair public levees, and to maintain the State Penitentiary, for the year commencing July 1st, 1912, and ending June 30th, 1913, and for the year commencing July 1st, 1913, and ending June 30th, 1914.
