ACT No. 653 AN ACT To amend Chapter 5 of Title 40 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 by adding thereto a new Part, to be designated as Part XXVI, comprising R.S. 40:1299.70 through 40:1299.76, both inclusive, to establish in the Office of Health Services and Environmental Quality of the Department of Health and Human Resources a program for the assessment of various aspects of cancer in the Louisiana population; to provide for the powers and duties in connection with such program; to require the participation of hospitals and pathology laboratories in such program; to provide with respect to liability of certain persons and hospitals, and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
