ACT No. 4  AN ACT To amend and reenact Schedule 12 of Priority I and Schedule 5 of Priority II both of Section 2 of Act No. 629 of the 1983 Regular Session of the Legislature, relative to capital outlay funding of Jefferson Parish juvenile facilities; to provide for local match of funding on a 50/50 state/local basis; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

ACT No. 217  AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 46:923 and R.S. 36:258(E) relative to rape crisis treatment services, to provide with respect to the provision of such services in state owned and operated medical acute care hospitals, to require that the director of the bureau for women within the Department of Health and Human Resources be responsible for the coordination of a rape crisis treatment program and the training of personnel therefor, and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

ACT No. 567   AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 13:1580 and 1583.1, R.S. 36:258(G), 36:408(H), R.S. 46:1251, the introductory paragraph of 1253, 1255, 1256, 1901, 1921, 1909, 1923, and Code of Juvenile Procedure Arts. 83(A)(5) and (6) and (C), 85(B), 86(B), 87(A)(2), 89(B)(1), 90(A), 91(A), (D), and (E), and 123(A), and to enact R.S. 15:901(F), R.S. 36:409(J), R.S. 46:1257, 1258, 1259, 1906.1 and 1906.2 and to repeal R.S. 46:1902, 1903(5), 1905(8), 1906(3), 1907.1, 1912, 1916, 1920, and Code of Juvenile Procedure Art. 84(B), all relative to services for children adjudicated delinquent or in need of supervision; to transfer the division of youth services from the office of human development of the Department of Health and Human Resources to the office of juvenile services of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections; to include in such transfer services for intake, probation, aftercare, programs for delinquency prevention, and all other services for children adjudicated delinquent or in need of supervision; to change the name of the division of evaluation and services to the division of children, youth and family services and delineate its functions; to create the Juvenile Corrections Board; to provide for expiration of the provisions of the Act; and to provide for related matters.

Act No. 899  AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 36:251(C), R.S. 36:257(A), and R.S. 36:258(H) and to enact R.S. 36:258(J), R.S. 36:259(0), and Chapter 36 of Title 46 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, to be comprised of R.S. 46:2500 through R.S. 46:2504, all relative to the functions of the state relating to alcohol and drug abuse; to create the office of prevention and recovery from alcohol and drug abuse and the Louisiana Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse in the Department of Health and Human Resources; to provide with respect to the membership and purposes of said commission, including the duties and responsibilities thereof; to provide an effective date; and to provide for related matters.
