A Brief History of the Louisiana Juvenile Courts: 1936

1936

Act 60 amended Section 96 of the 1921 Constitution, by providing for two Judges in the Orleans Juvenile Court.

Acts 313 and 330 amended Section 12 of the 1921 Constitution. It provided that should a Judge of the Juvenile Court be prevented for any reason from holding court, then a Justice of the Supreme Court could appoint a qualified lawyer to hold court during the term of disability or vacancy.
