The Revised Statutes of Louisiana, as adopted in 1950, had a Chapter 6 that was devoted exclusively to Juvenile Courts.
Act 82 meant to "repeal Chapter 6 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 being R.S. 13:1561 - 13:1809," which was just ordered "and substituting therefor a new Chapter 6, being R.S. 13:1561 - 13;1593, providing for a new Juvenile Court Act applicable to the entire State."
Act 369 provided for the appointment of probation officers in the Juvenile Court.
