Act 610: AN ACT
To enact Chapter 34 of Title 46 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, to be comprised of R.S. 46:2411 through R.S. 46:2427 and Code of Juvenile Procedure Articles 87(F) and 90(D), and to repeal R.S. 13:1580.2 relative to foster care, to provide definitions; to provide for the creation of local foster care review boards; to provide for the appointment, terms and removal of board members, place and frequency of meetings; to provide for compensation and support services; to provide for training; to provide with respect to confidentiality and penalties therefor; to provide for notification of new cases; to provide for the filing and contents of case permanency plans; to provide for the filing and copies of case progress reports; to provide for the filing of progress reports by foster parents, agencies and institutions; to provide for the assistance of the court to citizen review boards to gain access to records; to provide for case review and recommendations by local citizen review boards; to provide for the creation of state citizen review boards; to provide for the powers and duties of such boards; to provide with respect to operational costs for local and state citizen review boards; to provide for dispositional review hearings by the court; to provide for judgments of disposition; and to provide for related matters.
