Act 442: AN ACT
To enact Chapters 1 and 2 of Title XIII of the Louisiana Children's Code, comprised of Articles 1301 through 1342, and Articles 1351 through 1355, respectively; to repeal Part II of Chapter 6 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, comprised of R.S. 13:1641 through 1698, and R.S. 14:1 5,75.1, and 75.2; to consolidate and transfer certain support and enforcement provisions into the Children's Code; and to provide for related matters.

To amend and reenact Children's Code Articles 412(F), 414(C), 603(14), 619(D) and (E), 621(E), 624, 672(B), 674, 689, 691,739(A), 776(A), 792.11,814,819,857,858,862(A), 890(A), 893(B), 901(C), 1020, 1023(B), 1104(A), 1106, 1121(A), 1122(B)(4), (D), and(E), 1123, 1124,1131(A), 1132, 1133, 1134, 1136, 1137, 1138, 1139(A), 1141(A)(3), 1142, 1193, 1196, 1199(A), 1201(C), 1208(A), 1222(A), 1224, 1230(A), 1233, 1243(A), 1244, 1246, 1247, 1253(A), 1460(B) and (C), 1463(D)(6), and 1507(9) and R.S. 9:400(A)(4) and (5), R.S. 13:914.1, and R.S. 40:73(B); to enact Children's Code Articles 412(G), 620(D), 1130(D), 1202(C), and 1507(10), and Chapter 3-A of Title VIII of the Children's Code, comprised of Articles 811.1 and 811.2, and R.S. 9:400(A)(6); and to repeal R.S. 13:1561, all relative to the continuous revision of the Children's Code; to provide with respect to juvenile court administration, children in need of care, families in need of services, transitional provisions, delinquency, termination and surrender of parental rights, adoption of children, mental health and special proceedings, putative father registry, recordation of filiation judgments, and adoption records; and to provide for related matters.
