Act 201: AN ACT
To amend and reenact Section 1595.1 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 to provide for the date of the election and the date on which the terms of office of judges of Section "E" and Section "F" of the Orleans Parish Family Court shall commence; and to otherwise provide with respect thereto.

Act 228: AN ACT
To amend and reenact Section 1587.2 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, relative to the duties of the bailiff or crier and the stenographer of sections of the Orleans Parish Juvenile Court, and the additional compensation payable therefor.

Act 513: AN ACT
To amend Chapter 6 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 to enact the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act, to be
comprised of Sections 1700 through 1724 of said Title, to provide for the purposes of the Act, definitions relative to custody questions, and for jurisdiction of the courts; to provide for notice and opportunity to contestants; to provide for the exercise of
jurisdiction over persons outside this state; to provide with respect to simultaneous proceedings with other states; to provide
for the determination of inconvenient forums; to provide for the declining of jurisdiction due to certain conduct on the part of
parties; to provide for additional parties to proceedings hereunder; to provide for appearance of parties and children at hearings under this Act; to provide for the effect of judgments under this Act; to provide for recognition of custody decrees of other states; to provide for registry and certification of the custody decrees of other states; to provide for hearings and studies in other states; to provide for assistance to courts of other states; to provide for the preservation of documents for use in other states; to provide a method for requesting court records of other states; to provide for the international application of the policies of the Act; to provide for the priority of custody hearings; to provide for the severability of the Act; to provide for its effective date; to provide for the method of citation of the Act; and to otherwise provide with respect to the above and foregoing.

Act 535: AN ACT
To repeal Section 1578.2 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, relative to the detention of neglected children, abandoned children, run-away children, or children in need of supervision.

Act 695: AN ACT
To amend Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 to add thereto a new Section, to be designated R.S. 13:1580.2, to provide for written reports on the status of children who have been judicially committed to a foster home or other facility, to provide for the functions of the Department of Health and Human Resources, and to provide for judicial hearings and redeterminations on the basis of such reports.

Act 733: AN ACT
To amend and reenact Sections 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603 and 1605 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 relative to the judicial procedure for the termination of parental rights, to provide the grounds for declaring a judicial termination of parental rights, to require clear and convincing evidence as a basis for decision, to authorize said judicial determination based on abuse or neglect or abandonment of the child; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
