Act 136 was an act to amend and re-enact Subsection A of Section 691 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 stating the annual salaries, among others, of the judges of the juvenile court of the Parish of Orleans, the Parish of Caddo, and the Judge of the Family Court of East Baton Rouge Parish, shall be thirteen thousand two hundred ($13,200.00) dollars, payable monthly by the State Treasurer, provided that in no case shall the total salary of any judge covered by the provisions of this act exceed the sum of twenty thousand five hundred ($20,500.00) dollars per annum from all sources.
