Act 162 AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 40:79(C), relative to the issuance of new birth certificates to adopted persons born in a foreign country, to allow persons born in a foreign country and adopted outside the United States by adoptive parents who are residents of the state of Louisiana at the time of the adoption to obtain a new birth certificate under certain conditions and procedures, and other- wise to provide with respect thereto.
