ACT No. 72. AN ACT Creating the City Court of Alexandria, Louisiana; providing for the necessary employees and officers of said Court; defining the qualifications, powers and terms of office of said officers; providing for the salaries and fees of the employees and officials of said Court; regulating in general the authority, jurisdiction and procedure in said Court; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith; providing that if any section, paragraph, clause, or sentence herein should be declared unconstitutional or illegal for any reason it shall not affect the remaining portions of said Act.

ACT No. 256. UNIFORM VETERANS' GUARDIANSHIP ACT AN ACT To amend and re-enact Act 71 of 1932 as amended by Act 201 of 1934 and the Title thereof, entitled: "An Act concerning the curatorship and commitment of incompetent veterans of all wars and the tutorship of minor children of disabled or deceased veterans entitled to the benefits of any Act of Congress of the United States and to make uniform the law with reference thereto," and to repeal all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith.

AN ACT To amend and re-enact Sections 3, 10, 16, 18, 24, 25, 26, 30, 34, 35, 37, 46 and 49 of Act 172 of 1940, as amended by Act 178 of 1942, entitled, "An Act to create and establish a Classified Civil Service, based upon the merit system of personnel administration, to administer, control and regulate employment in the service of the State of Louisiana; to create and establish a State Department of Civil Service, a Director of Personnel in said Department, and a State Civil Service* Commission; . . .
