ACT No. 60 AN ACT To amend Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 by adding thereto new sections to be designated as R.S. 13:2082.1* through R.S. 13:2482.18, relative to the creation of a City-Court in Sulphur and Ward 4, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.

ACT No. 368 AN ACT To abolish the offices of Justice of the Peace and Constable in Ward 2 of Webster Parish, Louisiana, and to establish in lieu thereof the City Court of Springhill, Louisiana, consisting of a Judge and a Marshal and the necessary employees and defining the qualifications, powers, jurisdiction and terms of office; providing for the salaries and fees of the employees and officials of said Court and the manner of payment thereof; regulating in general the authority, jurisdiction and procedure in said Court; repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith; providing that if any section, paragraph, clause, or sentence should be declared unconstitutional or illegal for any reason it shall not affect the remaining portions of said Act and to provide the effective date hereof. Whereas, evidence has been submitted to the Legislature of the proper publication of notice of the intention to apply for the passage of this Act, as required by Article IV, Section 6 of the Constitution of Louisiana for the year 1921 and evidence has been submitted to the Legislature showing that Springhill has a population in excess of 5,000 inhabitants and that Ward 2 of Webster Parish, Louisiana, which contains Springhill, has a population in excess of 10,000 inhabitants.

ACT No. 369 AN ACT To amend and re-enact Sections 2283, 2284 and 2286 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, relative to the salaries of the judge, clerk and marshal of the City Court of Minden, Louisiana.

ACT No. 386 AN ACT To amend and re-enact Section 2116 of Title 13 of the Revised Statutes of 1950 (as amended by Acts 1952, No. 113) relative to the Clerk and the Deputy Clerk of the City Court of Bossier City, their qualifications, duties, salary, and removal.

ACT No. 430 AN ACT To amend and re-enact Section 12 of Title 35 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, relative to the duties of Notaries Public, by providing therein that Notaries shall insert in their acts the permanent mailing addresses of the parties thereto.

ACT No. 302. A JOINT RESOLUTION Proposing an amendment to Article XIV of the Constitution of the State of Louisiana by adding thereto an additional Section, to be known as Section 15.1 of Article XIV of the Constitution of Louisiana, relative to fire and police civil service provisions for municipalities between thirteen thousand and two hundred fifty thousand population.

NOTE: The above was No. 7 on the ballots voted on throughout the State on November 4, 1952, and carried by the following vote:
