No. 47.] AN ACT To incorporate the Carrollton and Kennerville Railroad Company.

The foregoing act having been presented to the Governor of the State of Louisiana for his approval, and the same not having been returned by him to the house of the General Assembly in which it originated within the time prescribed by the constitution of the State of Louisiana, has become a law without his approval.

No. 6.] AN ACT To provide for the purchase of a State House; to make appropriation therelor; to set apart the necessary funds, and to grant jurisdiction for the enforcement of the acts of sale and mortgage.

Received in the House of Representatives, Monday, March 1, 1875, and on the same day March 1, 1875, the House, pursuant to the provisions of the constitu- tion of the State (proceeded] to reconsider the bill to be entitled “An Act to pro- vide for the purchase of a State House, to make an appropriation therefor, to set apart the necessary funds, and to grant jurisdiction for the enforcement of the act of sale and mortgage," which was returned by his Excellency the Governor with his objections, and it was resolved that the bill do pass, two-thirds of all the members present in the House having agreed to pass the same.

Received in the Senate March 1, 1875, and March 1, 1875, the Senate proceeded, pursuant to the provisions of the constitution of the State, to reconsider the bill to be entitled “An Act to provide for the purchase of a State House; to make appro. priation therefor; to set apart the necessary funds, and to grant jurisdiction for the enforcement of the acts of sale and mortgage,” which was returned to the House of Representatives by his Excellency the Governor with his objections; and it was resolved that the bill do pass, two-thirds of all the members present in the Senate having agreed to pass the same.
