ACT No. 6. - AN ACT To authorize and empower the Parish of Jefferson, through its Police Jury, to sell certain Real Estate, belonging to the Parish of Jefferson and situated therein, and to provide the method of disposing of said property and to provide what purpose the funds realized therefrom shall be expended; due notice having been published in accordance §: Section 6 of Article 4 of the Constitution of this state.

AN ACT To amend and re-enact Sections 7 and 17 of Act No. 127 of the Extra Session of 1921, entitled, “An act to levy taxes on all inheritances, legacies and donations, or gifts made in contemplation of death; to provide exemptions; to provide for collection so as to provide the procedure in certain cases for fixing inheritance taxes, and for sending heirs in possession.
