ACT No. 279. AN ACT To provide for the inscription of conventional mortgages on real estate, including special mortgages, vendor's mortgages or sales with mortgage, Building and Loan or Homestead Association mortgages, and Federal Savings and Loan mortgages, and including the inscription of vendor's mortgages in the conveyance records, but excluding railroad mortgages, in the parish wherein the state capitol* is located.

ACT No. 319. AN ACT To amend and re-enact Section 914 of Title 13 of the Revised Statutes of 1950 relative to recordation of pleadings, original documents and judgments; and to repeal all laws in conflict therewith.
To amend and re-enact Section 131 of Title 44 of the Revised Statutes of 1950, relative to recordation of Notarial Acts of Conveyance and Mortgage, and to repeal all laws in conflict therewith.
To authorize the Clerks and Recorders of the Several District Courts and Parishes of the State of Louisiana, the Parish of Orleans excepted, to record instruments by photostatic or other photographic copy.

AN ACT To require an owner of a vehicle, as defined herein, to apply for and secure a Certificate of Title as evidence of ownership of such vehicle, as defined herein; providing exemptions therefrom and definitions of the terms used herein; to provide the method and responsibility of applying for a Certificate of Title; to grant additional power and authority and to impose added duties upon the Collector of Revenue, particularly with respect to his functions as Vehicle Commissioner and right to . . .

ACT No. 481. AN ACT To amend and re-enact Section 12 of Title 35 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, relative to the duties of Notaries Public, by providing therein that Notaries shall print or type the full names of the witnesses and of themselves under their respective signatures; and repealing all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith.

ACT No. 496. AN ACT To authorize the Police Jury as the governing authority of Richland Parish, Louisiana, to sell, deed, exchange, donate, dedicate or in any manner alienate, without warranty, but otherwise upon such terms and under such condition as it may deem proper, certain real property owned by it or to be acquired by it through operation of law, by reason of the abandonment of a street in the Town of Rayville, Louisiana, which street is contiguous to the west edge of the public square, and which street is no longer needed by town authorities for public purposes, and which additional property, if acquired by reason of said abandonment, would not be needed by Richland Parish for public purposes.

ACT No. 521. AN ACT To amend and re-enact Article 741 of the Revised Civil Code of Louisiana, as amended, and re-enacted by Act No. 336 of the Legislature of Louisiana in the year 1940, so as to protect the rights of all owners of mineral interests in lands sought to be partitioned by licitation; to define the term "mineral interests"; and to provide who are the necessary parties to such proceedings, and the manner and procedure for appraisement of the property to be sold, and distribution of the proceeds equitably among all interested parties.
