AN ACT To amend and re-enact Sections Twenty-four Hundred and Forty-two (2442); Twenty-four Hundred and Forty- three (2443); Twenty-four Hundred and Forty-four (2444); Twenty-four Hundred and Forty-five (2445) and Twenty-four Hundred and Forty-six (2446) of Title Thirteen (13) of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950 relating to the City Court of the City of Shreveport; providing for the jurisdiction of the said Court; providing for two Judges therefor; putting the Judges exclusively on salary; providing that the salary of the Judges and all expenses of the Court shall be borne exclusively by the City of Shreveport; providing that all fees in civil matters, and all fines and forfeitures be paid into the General Fund of the City of Shreveport; fixing the Judges' salary and their vacation time; providing for Clerks and Deputy Clerks for the said Court; providing for a City Marshal; defining his duties and putting him exclusively on salary; providing for Deputy Marshals; making a provision for automobiles for the City Marshal and providing for the expenses thereof; providing for the extension of the current term of City Marshal one month, and providing the effective date of these amendments.

AN ACT To amend and re-enact the title of Act 14 of 1914; to amend and re-enact paragraph 22 of Section 4 of Act 14 of 1914; to amend and re-enact Section 5 of Act 14 of 1914; to re-amend and re-enact Section 20 of Act 14 of 1914, as as amended and re-enacted by Act 189 of 1946; to amend and re-enact Section 45 of Act 14 of 1914, as re-amended and re-enacted; to amend and re-enact Section 46 of Act 14 of 1914; to repeal all laws or parts of laws in conflict herewith; an Act entitled: "AN ACT to incorporate the City of Bogalusa, in the Fourth Ward of the Parish of Washington; to provide for the Government and administration of the affairs thereof by a Commission Council, the first members of which shall be appointed by the Governor; to provide for the election and recall of the members of said Council; to constitute the territory of said City a School District; to limit the power of the Police Jury of Washington Parish; to levy Parish taxes and licenses therein; to prohibit the sale of intoxicating liquors, wine or beer within the limits of said City; to provide for the establishment of the City Court of Bogalusa, defining its jurisdiction and the right of appeal therefrom; to provide for the election of a Judge. and Constable for said Court in Ward 4 of the Parish of Washington, and the abolition of the justices of the peace and constables now in said ward; to provide for the appointment of a Clerk of said City Court; and defining his powers and duties; and abolish the Village of Richardsontown, in said Parish; and to provide for the compensation of said Judge, Constable and Clerk; to authorize said City to borrow money for its support until taxes for the year 1915 are collected; to repeal all laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act."
