ACT No. 55 AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 13:2584(C) and R.S. 51:1813, relative to the criminal jurisdiction of justice of the peace courts, to provide for concurrent jurisdiction over litter violations, and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

ACT No. 122 AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 13:2587(C) relative to fees charged by justices of the peace and their constables in civil cases, to permit justices of the peace and constables to retain the advanced costs in lieu of the fees set forth by schedule in R.S. 13:2586 and R.S. 33:1704, and to provide for related matters.

ACT No. 169 AN ACT To enact R.S. 13:1872(E), relative to the territorial jurisdiction of the city court of Houma, to provide that the court shall have jurisdiction throughout the parish of Terrebonne, and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

ACT No. 226 AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 13:621.15 and R.S. 13:1952(12), to provide for one additional judgeship for the fifteenth judicial district court, to provide for one additional judgeship for the city court of Lafayette, to provide for the compensation of the additional judges, to provide for their election and terms of office and that of their successors in office, to prohibit the judges of the city court of Lafayette from practicing law, and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

ACT No. 301 AN ACT To amend and reenact Code of Civil Procedure Article 4845, relative to trial courts of limited jurisdiction, to increase the jurisdictional amounts of parish, city and justice of the peace courts in eviction proceedings, to increase the jurisdictional amount of justice of the peace courts in suits for possession or ownership of movable property, and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.

ACT No. 450 AN ACT To amend and reenact Sections 89 and 286 of Title 26 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, relative to additional causes for suspension or revocation of permits.

ACT No. 647 AN ACT To amend Chapter 7 of Title 13 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, by adding thereto a new part, to be designated as Part IX thereof, to be comprised of R.S. 13:2488.71 through R.S. 132488.78, both inclusive, to abolish the offices of justice of the peace and constable for Ward 4 of St. Martin Parish and the Mayor's Court of the town of Breaux Bridge and to create in their stead a city court for the town of Breaux Bridge; to provide for the transition to the city court; to provide with respect to the jurisdiction of said court, the office and salary of the judge, marshal and other officials and employees of the court; and otherwise to provide with respect thereto.
